Phil Hanson

Frederick, Maryland-based Phil Hanson was born on Maryland's historic Eastern Shore and has lived in many east coast towns since. He has been practicing his art since he was old enough to hold a brush, and has been painting oils seriously for the past seven years. He is majoring in art and education, and has participated in a number of local art shows. His main influences include Pablo Picasso, Max Ernst, Frida Khalo, Jean-Michelle Basquiat, Wassily Kandinsky, Jackson Pollack and Salvador Dali.
