This Month At The Museum Shop

Richard Kornemann: Venice     Richard Kornemann: Study In Blue

This month, the gallery is proud to showcase works from our very own resident artist and conservationist Richard Kornemann. In addition to his expertise in fine art restoration (he has earned recommendations from the National Gallery of Art and the Freer Gallery, among others), Richard has created many evocative works himself, primarily expressed through oils, watercolors or etchings. Be sure to stop by the gallery during February to view examples of his work, and perhaps to meet the artist himself!

Thomas Kinkade

Thomas Kinkade: Painter of Light

Thomas Kinkade has touched the hearts of millions as perhaps America's best-known living painter. The Museum Shop is proud to be Frederick's exclusive authorized Thomas Kinkade dealer, and regularly carries a variety of limited edition canvases and other merchandise from the renowned Painter of Light. You can view selected pieces from Kinkade herein.

Remember: you can always contact us if you don't see the piece you want -- we can most likely get it for you!

Custom Framing

Custom Framing at the Museum Shop

The Museum Shop began providing custom framing to the DC area nearly 50 years ago -- in fact, we were one of the first frame shops in the area! Allow us to put a museum-quality custom frame around your photographs, documents, artwork, keepsakes, and just about anything else! Contact us for more details.

"Richard Kornemann spends his days bringing new life to old masterpieces, precious paintings, and the ephemera of history. Richard's unique blend of chemistry, modern technology and his own artistry has made him a well-respected art conservator."
